How much does it cost to join?
Zero. Our club is free to join.
How much wine do I receive, and how much will this cost me?
We send you four bottles, four times a year (the first of February, May, August, and November). Each shipment costs approximately $100 (before shipping). Shipping is through UPS ground, and you have the option to pick up your package at the winery.
Once you become a member and purchase your first package, you are not obligated for any further time period and may cancel at any time.
The Cliff Club
The world of wine can be fascinating, enriching, and incredibly enjoyable. It can also be confusing, frustrating, and elusive. Our goal at Cascade Cliffs is to make sure your experience with wine stays in those first three categories, and CLIFF CLUB members are virtually guaranteed of this.
How do you achieve this?
Access: When you become a Cliff Club member, you are instantly put on the list for our reserve and library wines, ensuring that you’ll receive these wines no matter how many are sold. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase some of these wines in-house after they’ve been removed from the tasting room menu. Recent examples include our 2005 RSV Estate Nebbiolo and our 2006 Estate Barbera, both award winners.
Affordability: Our club is not like many other wine clubs, where access is the main benefit. When you become a club member, you receive 25% off all wine purchases for life. Period. This includes your club packages, but also extends to any bottles purchased at the winery, whether it be one or two dozen. You will also have the opportunity to take advantage of periodic special deals we offer to club members; a recent holiday offer allowed club members to purchase our Estate Nebbiolo for $25/bottle, when the normal retail is $40. Another club member only deal offered our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon at $15/bottle, when normal retail is $28.
“Family” benefits: When you become a Cliff Club member, you become “part of the family”. This might sound like a clever sales pitch, but it’s the truth. As a club member, you pay nothing to attend specially planned theme tastings held at the winery. Vineyard tours that include hikes down to our petroglyph site and tastings in the pump house are complimentary to you. And while some may not put much value in this, we learn your name, remember who you are, and give you the time and attention you deserve.
Thank you gifts in every package: As a thank you for your continued support, we include at least one, often two free gifts in your wine package. These gifts are typically representative of us and the local products of the Columbia River Gorge. The latest shipment included a complimentary bottle of our Goat Head Red, and a jar of locally produced honey from hives on our property. We’ve also included garlic (grown here on our property) and locally grown peaches.
