Barbera

Aged 12-20 months in American Oak. Aging recommendation: Mid-term (4-7 years)

Winemaker’s Select NV Barbera

Retail $75 Club $56

Our Winemaker’s Select (WS) Barbera is a first for us; blending young, unoaked Barbera from the 2022 vintage with 2021 Barbera that was aged almost two years in barrel created a new, exciting style of Barbera. Vibrant, bright red cherry/berry flavors race into the palate, and are greeted by softer, deeper, and darker fruit flavors. A warm, mouth- watering finish cleans things up nicely. *Limited Inventory.

Winemaker’s Select Barbera 2024

Retail $85 Club $63

This is a Barbera made from two specific McKinley Springs vineyard blocks, resulting in a rich, fruit-forward style. It has hints of a traditional Barbera, and is not quite as “jammy” as our Blood Red Barbera. Warm flavors of cherry preserves are followed by a vibrant, mouth-watering finish. The 12 months in oak give this wine added structure and subtle nuances of toasty aroma and flavor. Another classic version of Bob’s signature grape and wine, delicious now, but suited to age in the bottle.

Estate Barbera 2024

Retail $85 Club $63

Our latest Estate Barbera hearkens back to a more traditional style of Barbera, bright and zippy, yet still fruit-forward and intense. Mouth- watering flavors of freshly-picked cherry and black raspberry are accentuated by a lingering, toasty finish. This might be our most-balanced and impressive version of Estate Barbera to date, and we’ll definitely be entering it into wine competitions next year.

Blood Red Barbera 2024

Retail $90 Club $67

Made from the legendary Block 11 section of McKinley Springs Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA, this is Barbera at its richest and ripest. The fruit is powerful and jammy on the attack, encompassing and focused on the mid-palate, and long-lasting on the finish.Creamy and luscious flavors of black cherry preserves, sun drenched berries, and warm maple are followed by a finish that goes on and on.At 17.7 % ABV, our 2024 Blood Red Barbera is not for the weak of heart or the timid wine drinker.

Reserve Blood Red Barbera 2023

Retail $100 Club $75

The 2023 Blood Red Barbera quickly gained a reputation as being one of the more “Blood Red" Blood Red Barberas... In other words, this vintage of BRB is an incredibly rich, fruit forward wine, packed with juicy cherry and dark berry flavors from start to finish. Aged for 20 months in half-new, half-used barrels, the wine picked up even more layers of toasty flavors, yet still has the varietal's trademark brightness on the finish. A powerful and delicious treat for the senses.

Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Fleshy and ripe, this is a Cab that drinks beautiful. Flavors of dark berries, cola, and sweet spices dance on the palate, reminding us that “we’re home.” Enjoy now or hold for a future love affair.

Reserve HHH Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

The folks in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA might have something to say about who grows the best Cabernet Sauvignon in WA State. And they would have a good argument... Our 2022 RSV HHH Cab Sauv, made from 100% McKinley Springs Vineyard is another example of how good this fruit is. Horse Heaven Hills Nebbiolo 2022

Retail $55 Club $41

Nebbiolo is a tricky, almost sneaky wine. The pale, rusty color almost appears like a rosé, and the subtle dried fruit flavors on the attack lead you to believe it is a light, simple red wine. But then the mid-palate creeps up, rewarding you with a crescendo of complex flavors and textures. The finish is dry and refreshing, a beautiful combination of acid and tannin to clean things up. This 2022 vintage of Nebbiolo only had a short amount of time in barrel, so the tannins are softer than normal.

Winemaker’s Select Nebbiolo 2023

Retail $55 Club $41

Truly one of the more unique and intriguing wines of the world, Nebbiolo is not to be taken lightly- even if it looks that way.
